Yes, we offer scholarships to both Canadian and International students.

Canadian students with an average of 85%-89.9% are automatically offered $1000.00. Canadian students with an average of 90% and above are automatically offered $2000.00. Other scholarships of higher amounts are available for students with exceptionally high averages. International Students are eligible for scholarships of $2000 - $3000 CAD. Once a student applies to Memorial, their admissions average is used to determine whether or not they are awarded a scholarship.

Our automatic entrance scholarships are non-renewable. However some scholarships listed online at www.mun.ca/scholarships/ are renewable.

There are a number of athletic scholarships and awards available to student-athletes, but the amount and number vary among sports. Canadian Interuniversity Sport student-athletes are eligible to receive athletic financial awards equivalent to the value of tuition and fees. Entering students require an 80% admission average, while returning athletes require a 65% average over the last academic year to be eligible to receive an award.

Entrance scholarships are automatic so no application is necessary. However, there are various scholarships online at www.mun.ca/scholarships/ that require applications, eligibility for these scholarships vary.
