What high school courses do I need to apply to Memorial?
The University accepts applications from graduates of any recognized university preparation program who have successfully completed acceptable senior level high school courses in the following five subject areas: English; mathematics; a laboratory science; a modern/classical language or social science; and one other subject area. For students completing their studies in Canada, an overall average of 70 per cent is required. What English requirements do I need?
Since English is the primary language of instruction at Memorial University, all applicants seeking admission to the University must possess an adequate knowledge of written and spoken English as a prerequisite to admission. Regardless of country of origin or citizenship status, applicants are required to provide proof of proficiency in the English language. Requirement for providing proof of English proficiency can be found in the current University Calendar (www.mun.ca/regoff/calendar) under University Regulations, Section 2.2.

How can I apply for a study permit?
